ONLY OPEN TO 4-H MEMBERS IN BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY
PROJECTS ENTERED MUST BE CURRENT YEAR’S WORK
Entries will be received on Tuesday, June 18 from 4:30-6:00 PM CT and
Wednesday, June 19 from 7 to 9 AM CT
No entries will be accepted after 9 AM CT
Judging will occur at 12 noon CT on Wednesday, June 19. No one will be allowed in the 4-H
Exhibit Area during judging. Judges decisions are final.
Entries will be displayed until closing on Friday and no items can be removed until Saturday,
June 22. Premiums will be paid when entries are checked out between 8 AM – 10 AM CT on
Saturday, June 22. Exhibitors must pick up entries during check out period. Those failing to
follow this rule will forfeit any premiums won. Judging will be the Danish System and all entries
will receive a blue, red, or white ribbon.
Exhibits will correspond with the 2024 Kentucky State Fair Catalogue.
STATE FAIR ENTRIES WILL BE SELECTED FROM COUNTY FAIR ENTRIES
No project record books or record sheets will be required. You must bring your social security
number with you or your project cannot progress to the state fair (No exceptions)! Exhibitors
with champion food or perishable items must provide replacements at State Fair time.
Premium money for the 4-H Exhibits will be distributed according to participation in the
various divisions.
Breckinridge County 4-H Fair Exhibits
Basic requirements to enter 4-H exhibits at the county fair
are:
Youth ages 9 to 18 as of January 1, 2024
Current 4-H enrollment form on file in the office
Must follow Kentucky State Fair 4-H Exhibit Rules

The basic divisions are listed below. For more specific information on any of the categories in each division, please contact the Breckinridge County Extension Office at 270-756-2182. Kentucky State Fair guidelines must be followed to ensure youth are eligible to participate in the state fair.
